Mail Boxes Dumped

Some time last night in Division 5 most mail boxes were open and if there were any contents t=it was scattered all over the street. My husband called me at 5:15 a.m. to tell me this. So just a heads up for anyone who forgot to check their mailboxes.

My mailbox was one the was opened along 189th. I noticed it when I left for work around 7:00 AM. I also completed an online police report so the police have it on record. This has occurred in the past and it appears it is kids walking through the neighborhood late at night. I am glad that I removed my mail when i got home from work before this happened.

About 40 mailboxes had their doors opened on Sunday Morning 2-12-2012, mail was all over the road again. The same thing happened about 1 - 1/2 months ago. My neighbor filed a police report. This happened on 189th Ave SE between SE 265th & Timberlane Drive.[/b]

I purpose for locking mail boxes. If the rails need to be replaced why not get everyone on board for mail boxes with keys. I dont know if the hoa is responsible for the rails but if they are why not coordinate it so when they get replaced we can set it up for bigger lockable boxes paid for by the owner.
